World Smile Day
“Only stupid questions create wealth.” Gary Hamel
World Smile Day devotes a day to smiles and spreading random acts of kindness.
If someone smiles at you, you’re bound to smile back. A smile often expresses a feeling, encouragement to someone, or serves as a greeting. On World Smile
Day, people worldwide are encouraged to do an act of kindness and make at least one person smile.

Acumatica ERP | G2 Fall Results
G2 is an independent site that, each season, facilitates and collates the surveys of ERP subscribers regarding their existing ERP application’s feature set, ease of use and their relationship with the ERP publisher.
As you can see below, Acumatica Cloud ERP rated amazingly well:
Thank you to everyone who took the time to write a review on G2. It is very much appreciated!
ASWi | Central Texas Customer Appreciation Lunch
Thank you to everyone who attended our inaugural Customer Appreciation Lunch yesterday at the Oasis on the Lake.
It was great to see everyone who came and to introduce them to some of the new faces on our team. It was also awesome to see and hear the great conversations that our clients were having with each other and with the ASWi team.
A special thank you to Sheena and the team at the Oasis. The food, the service and the view were all amazing! Again, my apologies to the folks who sat at my table for not having their name being selected on Eric’s Wheel of Prizes app.

Acumatica Summit | Registration is Now Open
Subject: Request to Attend Acumatica Summit 2025
Dear [Insert Name],
There is a top industry event taking place in January 2025 that presents a great opportunity for me to build my knowledge and skills, network with experts, better understand the capabilities of business management software and help us get the most out of our technology investments.
Acumatica Summit 2025, an annual event recently named the Event of the Year by Globee Business Awards, takes place in Las Vegas beginning January 26, 2025, at Wynn Las Vegas and offers three full days of informative keynote presentations, training, and educational breakout sessions. It is Acumatica’s premier event of the year—and is widely regarded as one of the best cloud-based ERP solution forums for end users and technical information professionals. Acumatica’s Summit delivers:
In-depth, issue-focused sessions presented by industry-leading speakers on a range of compelling topics—with over 90 sessions covering issues and emerging challenges faced by organizations like ours.
A great environment to better understand the latest ERP industry trends and to learn firsthand about real end user experiences from seasoned practitioners.
Ample networking opportunities to raise our profile and forge valuable relationships with top developers, creators, influencers, and business leaders.
Direct access to key sponsors, product demos, and one-on-one time with company leaders.
In the interest of further developing my skills and building my knowledge about the latest ERP innovations and best practices, I request approval to attend this event. The costs are as follows.
– Early Bird Summit Pass (purchased prior to 12/6/2024) | $1,495
– Full Price Summit Pass (purchased after 12/6/2024) | $1,795
– Hotel Accommodations ($259 per night + tax and resort fee) | $777+
– Airfare | [Insert Total]
– Total Cost to Attend | [Insert Total]
Return on Investment: I believe the cost of a pass to attend Acumatica Summit 2025 is a great investment that will return actionable intelligence, insights, and networking connections to help us stay ahead of our competitors. When I return from the event, I will share what I have learned in a presentation highlighting compelling learnings, useful product information, critical contacts I have made, and a strategic proposal for implementing new ideas that will benefit our team. I will also make all the Summit materials I receive available to my colleagues.
Thank you for your consideration.
Leadership 101 | Tips from Bri

The murk of work
You know what I think exhausts us at work? Murk. Think of your average work day, for example. It’s likely filled with writing and responding to emails, attending meetings, speaking with colleagues, customers and/or suppliers.
Now think of all the micro decisions you have to make in the course of that activity.
• How should I say something so it best lands?
• How do I get my point across that means others are likely to agree?
• Who should do what, and how do I tell them?
This is the murk of work. The incessant internal dialogue debating what the best thing to do is. Yesterday I mentioned I’ve tweaked my value proposition. In case
you’re wondering, it’s about clarity. Because that’s what clients most often thank me for.
Clarity.
• Clarity of words. Of decisions. Of actions.
• Clarity for you. Your team. Your customers.
Because that’s the real power of the behavioral science I share, in the way I share it. My hope is that it’s taking away some of the murk we wrestle with as business owners and leaders.
Waffle
Most of the letters and emails I receive are ‘safe’. I was discussing this with a client the other day. Her communications specialist had drafted an email that was long winded, bureaucratic and entirely unengaging.
Lots of words, lots of waffle. But being ‘safe’ is a risk. Because you risk being ignored. That’s fine if you want your message to be overlooked.
